Arts Excursions Unlimited
Arts Excursions Unlimited is a grassroots community arts project in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Hazelwood. Approximately, 150 community members of all ages collaborate on the planning and implementation of arts and cultural excursions in the region and beyond, creative activities for community events and festivals throughout the city, and temporary public art projects. Going strong since 2015.

A Tribute to Faith Ringgold

(With apologies to Ferris Bueller's Day Off and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. Not all the work show here is by Ms. Ringgold, but MCA has a good thing going on up on that top floor.)
Sad to Hear that Faith Ringgold passed away recently. Arts Excursions Unlimited (a Pittsburgh, PA based community arts organization) traveled to Chicago in December 2023 and was lucky enough to have had a guided tour of the MCA's excellent retrospective of her work. She was an incredible artist.
